Personal data
The personal data provided by the data subjects which act on representation of the SMEs’ which participate in the Open Call will be processed by the EUHubs4Data partners that signed a joint data controller agreement, whose details are available at “link”.
In case of having any question regarding their personal data processing and/or to exercise their personal-data-protection related rights, the data subjects may contact INSTITUTO TECNOLOGICO DE INFORMÁTICA (also referred to as “ITI”, a NPO organized under the laws of Spain, with Tax Identification Number G96278734) as the coordinator of the EUHubs4Data Data Controllers. Regarding their personal data, the data subjects may exercise before the Data Controllers the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, withdrawal of the consent given and the right to fil a complaint before the supervisory authority, which in this case is the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
Based on the legitimation referred to in article 6.1.f) of the GDPR, personal data is processed for the exclusive purpose of managing the application of the SME and its participation in the EUHubs4Data Project.
The Personal Data may be disclosed only to the external evaluators who evaluate their proposals, to the European Commission and to the concerning DIHs whose services are selected by the SMEs for the implementation of their experiments.
The personal data will be kept for as long as it is necessary to process the SME’s application and its participation in the EUHubs4Data Project. Once this purpose has been fulfilled, it will be blocked for the period in which any kind of liability may arise from the processing, or the relationship established between the SME and ITI. Once this period of time is over and these liabilities have expired, the personal data will be deleted by the Data Controllers.
Anonymized statistical data on the selected services, national origin of applications, number of applications, etc., is shared among the EUHubs4Data’s consortium members.
